Located in the heart of Penobscot Bay, Journey's End Marina offers full services for both recreational and commercial vessels. The marina has evolved from the former commercial fish plants that once prevailed on the Rockland waterfront, into boat storage sheds, 75 deep water slips and a complete facility for professional marine services.

Journey's End Marina has about 75 deep water slips with transient dockage for up to 225' LOA. Both indoor and outdoor storage is available on site.

Commercial boats and fisherman have used Journey's End Marina for many years for haul out and repair services. The marina is a division of the O'Hara Corporation. The O'Hara family has long been involved in fishing industries and understands the needs of fisherman and their vessels. Rockland is a gateway to many great cruising destinations in the Penobscot Bay area. Transient vessels often use the port as a stop between Boothbay and the Mt. Desert Island area. Rockland has been transformed from a busy commercial town to a more balanced commercial and recreational location; featuring museums, galleries, restaurants and summer festivals. The Farnsworth Art Museum and Owls Head Transportation Museum provide something interesting for all ages. The North Atlantic Blues Festival and Rockland Lobster Festival are very popular for boaters, so plan ahead for your slip reservations. Journey's End Marina is tucked in behind the Coast Guard Station in the center of the harbor with an easy, deep water approach. Main street shops and attractions are just a short walk up Tillson Avenue.

Boat trucking is a convenient way to move your power or sailboat. While much of our trucking is concentrated in the Northeast, we do offer long distance trucking as well. Journey's End Marina has two transport rigs; one hydraulic Brownell trailer and one lower riding road trailer. If you don't have time to cruise your boat south for the winter, let us deliver it for you in just a few days. We take pride in keeping our trucks and equipment in good condition and can provide references from satisfied customers.
